Clinitas Ultra 3 uniquely protects the corneal surface by delaying tear evaporation and restoring the critical lipid layer. It also hydrates the aqueous layer and stabilises the mucin layer.
The product contains two key components: three blended polymers and a proprietary phospholipid. Together the polymers have unique wetting properties with thermodynamic stability arising from high colloidal osmotic pressure. This, with the enhancement of the lipid layer allows rejuvenation of corneal epithelium, restoring a smooth surface for low friction blinking, which in turn improves blink rates and stops tear evaporation.
